Tutus for Tatas is a team of men & women who participate in the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. Taking place
in 14 cities nationwide, the Breast Cancer 3 Day is a 3 Day, 60 mile walk that provides an opportunity to educate thousands
of people about breast cancer, including the importance of early detection.
Organized in 2005 with
just 28 women, Team Tutus raised over $90,000 and became friends for life! Promising to continue their friendships and to
continue walking,The 2008 Tutu Nation consists of 104 Atlanta members to date, with teams walking in Atlanta,
San Diego, Washington DC &Tampa. We even have 2 members that are walking in ALL 14 Cities! To date, the total monies raised
by teamTutus to fight Breast Cancer is over $615,000.00!!!!!
The 2006 Tutus consisted of 75 men & women and
raised over $230,000 making us the #2 Team in the entire Nation! We range in age from 16 to 75 and come from all walks
of life! We have a single unifying thread and that is to Find A Cure!
Growing even larger in 2007,
Team Tutus was 125 strong! Our 3 year cumulative total is now well over ONE HALF MILLION DOLLARS with our goal now being to
reach ONE MILLION!

First, let us tell you a little more about the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk
& What we do!
The Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk is a 20 mile a day walk throughout the streets of it's
host city. We live in a 3-Day Camp! We sleep in tents, shower in tractor trailer trucks and we have all perfected the "porta-pot
squat"! We leave our families, our HAIRDRYERS & makeup behind and concentrate on the issues of Breast Cancer! It's
a celebration of life! Of Survival!
As well as the commitment to walk, each walker commits to raising a minimum
of $2200.The 2007 3-Day Walk raised over 86 million dollars nationwide.The money funds research & treatment. As the primary
beneficiary of the Breast Cancer 3-Day, 85% of funds raised goes to Susan G Komen for the Cure with 15% going to the National

The stastics are alarming with 1 in 8 women developing Breast
Cancer in her lifetime. Early detection and awareness is still our best defense so our mothers, daughters, sisters & friends
do not have to hear the frightening words that they too have breast cancer.
